Wiza Hidayat, CEO of Ecobuild Green Building Consultant, represented Indonesia as a speaker at the Regen Asia Summit 2025, held at the National University of Singapore (NUS), one of the prominent universities in Southeast Asia.
Themed “Regen Asia Summit: Intergenerational Collaboration for Regeneration”, this inaugural event brought together over 100 stakeholders and 600 students from across Southeast Asia, creating a platform for cross-generational dialogue on environmental regeneration and a sustainable future for the region. The summit was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
Wiza delivered a presentation on “Futureproof Cities: Ecological Design for Climate Resilience in Cities”, where he shared how ecological design can help cities become more adaptive and resilient to climate crises. Drawing from real projects and case studies in Indonesia, he highlighted the importance of integrating design, technology, and environmental awareness into future urban planning.
