One of Jakarta’s modern business icons, Telkom Landmark Tower, has officially achieved the EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) certification from IFC, part of the World Bank Group. This achievement marks a significant milestone in corporate sustainability.

Following a comprehensive science-based technical assessment, both buildings in the Telkom Landmark Tower complex, TLT 1 and TLT 2, demonstrated notable efficiency gains. TLT 1 achieved 20% energy savings, 30% water savings, and 100% less embodied carbon in materials. TLT 2 recorded even higher results with 24% energy savings, 33% water savings, and 100% less embodied carbon in materials.

“This certification is not just a milestone. It reflects our vision to create modern, efficient, and sustainable workspaces,” said Ferry Alfonso, Director of Operations at Telkom Landmark Tower.

As the green building consultant, Ecobuild, also expressed its appreciation for the collaborative achievement. “We are proud to be part of this success. With strong teamwork, both towers reached EDGE Certified status. We also hope to complement this achievement through Greenship Certification to ensure long-term performance” said Yadi Krisnadi, Chairman and Advisor of Ecobuild Green Building Consultant.

As buildings play a crucial role in addressing climate challenges, Telkom Landmark Tower is setting a new benchmark for responsible and sustainable development in Indonesia.
