Auto2000, Authorized Main Dealer for Toyota, has a vision of sustainability by delivering a green building-certified showroom to all of their branches. Located at Wahid Hasyim 164, Jakarta, Auto2000 collaborates with Ecobuild in achieving green building certification by using EDGE rating system tools, as an innovation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
In this EDGE certification, the minimum target achieved is EDGE Certified, where Auto2000 plans to achieve the minimum standard of 20% in energy, water, and embodied energy in materials.
Until today, Auto2000 is using Renewable Energy with the aim of sustainable development and Astra’s Sustainability Index Target. Auto2000 has installed solar panels in 40 Auto2000 branches to generate its own electricity to eliminate the carbon footprint of electricity usage.
